I am based in Prague 5, and this is my home area: Smíchov, Anděl, Košíře, Motol, Jinonice, Radlice, Hlubočepy, Barrandov, Stodůlky and Zličín. I do repairs and furniture assembly, usually with a date within 48 hours on working days. We arrange everything in English.

I cover all of Prague 5 and the areas next to it. Some of them belong officially to Prague 13 or to Zličín, but many people still call them Prague 5.

Old apartment buildings in Smíchov and lower Košíře
Smíchov has many apartment buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century. They have high ceilings, thick brick walls and wooden-beam ceilings. Typical jobs:
- curtain rails and pictures on old plaster, which can be soft
- tall wardrobes and shelves, fixed to the wall
Panel blocks in Stodůlky, Lužiny and Barrandov
The housing estates of Stodůlky, Lužiny, Nové Butovice and Barrandov were built from concrete panels, mostly in the 1980s and early 1990s. Typical jobs:
- drilling into hard concrete for TVs, shelves and kitchen wall units
- a new IKEA kitchen in place of the original one
- advice before you renovate the original panel bathroom; for larger renovations I can recommend a partner company, stavitelstvi-klon.cz
Villas and family houses in Košíře and Hlubočepy
- shelves, wardrobes and small repairs around the house
New-build flats around Anděl, in Jinonice, Radlice and Zličín
Many new flats have plasterboard walls or hollow ceramic blocks, which need the right wall plugs. Typical jobs:
- furniture for the whole flat
- curtains, blinds and the TV, with fixings for plasterboard
- tip: in a new building, check the developer's warranty before you pay for the repair of a construction defect

Response time
I do not offer an emergency service. For a burst pipe, close the main water valve and call an emergency plumber.
When you book, tell me the entry code, the floor and whether there is a lift. Not every old building in Smíchov has one.
- I usually offer a date within 48 hours on working days.
- Express: a date within 24 hours on working days, if I have free time, for +1,000 CZK.
- Working hours: Mon–Fri 8–18, Sat 9–14. Saturdays and Sundays have a surcharge of +50%.
- I reply to messages by the next day.
Prices
Prague 5 is in zone 1: call-out and first hour of work from 1,500 CZK, travel included.
Stodůlky, Lužiny and Nové Butovice belong to Prague 13, Zličín to Prague 17 and Radotín to Prague 16. All of them are in zone 1, and travel is always included.

Do you charge for travel in Prague 5?
No, travel is always included. Prague 5, Stodůlky, Zličín and Radotín are all in zone 1, where call-out and the first hour of work cost from 1,500 CZK.
Do you also work outside Prague 5?
Yes, in all of Prague, mainly in Prague 6, 4, 10, 1 and 2. Travel is always included; only the minimum differs by zone (from 1,500 CZK in zone 1, from 2,000 CZK in zone 2).
